Spring and autumn are the most stressful time for me. I don't like the cold too much, and I can't stand the heat at all, so I have only two seasons left to be active in the garden.
I'm not complaining, I love this active time when I can spend a lot of time in the garden. Yesterday I cut off extra branches from a willow that has grown actively. By and large, willow is not a garden tree. It grew in my yard by accident. But I didn't destroy it. Our planet is already suffering from global warming and only trees can alleviate this problem.
The grateful tree has grown above the roof of a summer house in a few years. Now it creates enough shade to do without an air conditioner on hot days. And I think that's really important.
However, I trim part of the lower branches. The willow tolerates this procedure easily. In order to provide waste-free care for the garden, I bought a garden shredder. This is one of my best purchases! Now I can not only get rid of dry branches without much effort, but also get a wonderful environmentally friendly mulch for my plants.
