Hello good evening all HIVE friends. This week I will share my experience visiting one of the museums in Kuala Lumpur and there are many museums in the city center and more than one. One of the museums that I managed to visit is the Malay Ethnology Museum in Kuala Lumpur. And in this museum it turns out that it is only a place to sit and relax for visitors and a food bazaar that starts at 9 am until the evening. However, because I arrived at 7 am, the food bazaar was not yet open
Because inside this museum is also not open yet then I will share this museum building to all my friends who are here. This Ethnology museum building is actually a modern building but some corners towards this place they also insert many Malay customs which are indeed the main tribe in Kuala Lumpur. and I like how they made the museum landmark on top of the building and made with a black wooden background with a little art there which makes this landmark more elegant and worthy to be seen and used as a photo corner on our camera then the front building of the museum has a tiered roof with a tapering upwards and there are tassels made of carved wood which carvings are typical carvings of the Malay tribe itself.

On the roof of the ceiling is made using multiroof zinc but in the middle of the zinc I can see there is a square shape with a line motif that is deliberately made to beautify the roof. and here you can see clearly how the modern building is made with a very minimalist concept but does not eliminate the Malay customs in the building. The black color is then married to the brown color on the roof ridge. then the carved wooden tassels that appear around the end of the roof make this modern building have a value that is suitable to be matched with the name of the building itself.
Then the glass windows of the building, both oof and on, are fitted with carvings similar to those on the roof. The difference is that this glass is only made with white stickers and I am sure it has extra care so that the color does not fade quickly and lasts a long time on the window and is not exposed to dust.

Beside the building there are corridors as a connection to other buildings so that visitors or employees who are there do not get too hot and wet. In this corridor I saw a thicker traditional nuance compared to the main building. On each edge of the corridor is given a wooden divider whose wood is thick with Malay carvings there and they prefer to paint it with the color of the wood itself to have a natural impression and of course so that it does not look strange. And at the end of the long corridor there is also a roof that is designed very uniquely and the design is above the tiles. And the roof is made of wood that is shaped like the main building. It is also given a brown color the same as the tiles and the edges of the fence. This roof is designed in tiers and this is a symbol that the shape of the roof is a characteristic of Malay houses in Kuala Lumpur.

And after I got tired of walking around I decided to go back to the hotel and will continue the journey to the next destination. Greetings from aya tomi diwirja, Indonesia
