Esta es mi primera participación en esta comunidad donde tengo el gusto de unirme a la iniciativa, invitada por mi amiga
@wendyth16 donde se nos da la oportunidad de reflexionar sobre la Semana Santa y expresar como vivo y siento y cuales son las costumbres y tradiciones que practico esos días. En Semana Santa recordamos la pasión, muerte y resurrección de nuestro Señor Jesucristo. Para mí, esta semana es un tiempo para fortalecer mi fe y reafirmar mi amor por Él. Por eso siempre intento asistir a todas las festividades que celebra la Iglesia católica.

@wendyth16 where we are given the opportunity to reflect on Holy Week and express how I live and feel and what are the customs and traditions that I practice those days. During Holy Week we remember the passion, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. For me, this week is a time to strengthen my faith and reaffirm my love for him. That is why I always try to attend all the festivities held by the Catholic Church.
En Venezuela, una de las formas de conmemorar esta fecha, es visitando las iglesias, muchas personas se toman estos días libres para disfrutar de las playas, parques, ríos, viajar a visitar a sus familiares. Aunque yo también disfruto de estos días para salir a nuestras playas, también me gusta ir a adorar a nuestro Señor Jesucristo. Este año comencé con el Domingo de Ramos donde asistí al hermoso ritual de la bendición de las palmas esto se hizo en un lugar de la comunidad luego dimos un corto recorrido hasta la iglesia; agitando las palmas, cantando y alabando a nuestro Señor Jesucristo hasta que entramos a la iglesia, esto nos recuerda la entrada triunfal de nuestro Señor a Jerusalén. Como cada año hago mis cruces de la Palma Bendita para colocarla varios lugares de mi casa para protegerla, esto es una tradición familiar.
In Venezuela, one of the ways to commemorate this date, is by visiting churches, many people take these days off to enjoy the beaches, parks, rivers, travel to visit their families. Although I also enjoy these days to go out to our beaches, I also like to go to worship our Lord Jesus Christ. This year I started with Palm Sunday where I attended the beautiful ritual of the blessing of the palms this was done in a place in the community then we took a short walk to the church; waving the palms, singing and praising our Lord Jesus Christ until we entered the church, this reminds us of the triumphal entry of our Lord to Jerusalem. As every year I make my crosses of the Blessed Palm to place it in various places in my house to protect it, this is a family tradition.
En otra actividad que este año asistí fue a la misa y posteriormente a la procesión del Nazareno para acompañarlo en su camino al Calvario, aquí el color representativo es el morado, muchos fieles se visten con túnicas moradas para pagar un favor recibido y el Jueves Santo asistí a la misa de la última cena y al lavatorio de pies.
In another activity that I attended this year was the mass and later the procession of the Nazarene to accompany him on his way to Calvary, here the representative color is purple, many faithful dress in purple robes to pay a favor received and on Holy Thursday I attended the mass of the last supper and the foot washing.
El día que más me gusta es el Viernes Santo, cuando visito los Siete Templos. Hago este ritual con mi familia y significa mucho para nosotros porque acompañamos a Jesús a través de la oración mientras caminaba por los diferentes lugares donde vivió su pasión. Los templos representan todos los lugares donde estuvo durante la noche en que fue arrestado, golpeado y crucificado. Así que este año no salí muy temprano como de costumbre, pero hice todo el recorrido en compañía de mi mamá y mi hermana, mientras visitaba cada iglesia leía cada pasaje donde nuestro Señor estuvo ese día acompañado de oraciones y cantos
The day I like the most is Good Friday, when I visit the Seven Temples. I do this ritual with my family and it means a lot to us because we accompany Jesus through prayer as he walked through the different places where he lived his passion. The temples represent all the places where he was during the night he was arrested, beaten and crucified. So this year I did not leave very early as usual, but I did the whole tour in the company of my mom and my sister, while visiting each church I read each passage where our Lord was that day accompanied by prayers and songs.
Desde niña en casa me inculcaron que el viernes Santo no se come carne. Por eso en mi casa esos días comemos pescados. Preparamos cuajados, lo cual se realiza con pescados desmenuzados guisados en especial (Cazón o Raya), papa, zanahoria, plátano frito, huevos. Para culminar el último día de la Semana Santa es muy importante para mí asistir a la Misa de Resurrección, porque ese domingo celebramos con alegría y aplausos que nuestro Señor ha resucitado, además ese día es la bendición del agua y mi costumbre es ir a recogerla. Así que celebré esta Semana Santa con muchas festividades religiosas, porque la verdad es que no me apetecía salir a la playa, ya que en mi ciudad las tengo todo el año. Me encantó participar en esta gran iniciativa y compartir mis tradiciones de Semana Santa. Invito a mis amigas @daysiselena y @nathyortiz.
Since I was a child, I was taught at home that on Good Friday we don't eat meat. That is why in my house we eat fish on those days. We prepare cuajados, which is made with shredded fish stewed in special (Dogfish or Ray), potatoes, carrots, fried banana, eggs. To culminate the last day of Holy Week is very important for me to attend the Mass of Resurrection, because that Sunday we celebrate with joy and applause that our Lord has risen, also that day is the blessing of the water and my custom is to go to collect it. So I celebrated this Holy Week with many religious festivities, because the truth is that I did not feel like going to the beach, since in my city I have them all year round. I loved participating in this great initiative and sharing my Easter traditions. I invite my friends
