before I start to rant about the main problem with Steemit, I want to say, I am 100% long on Steemit and I believe the technology in its self is almost flawless. However, the problem is with the contents of the very limited number of users on it compared to the likes of YouTube. The only quality contents on Steemit are the ones about cryptocurrency. People who post about cryptocurrency and block-chain get too much views and up votes compared to the ones about other things. In fact most people who use Steemit only use it to either make some money off a post about cryptocurrency or research about cyptocurency and crypto news.
If this trend in the Steemit community continues Steemit will drown in the shadows of cryptocurrency and eventually be forgotten as a website for greedy people. Our goal should be to get everyone on youtube to switch platforms to Dtube (both content viewers and creators). Doing this will enebale all types of content to thrive on Steemit which in turn will cause Steemit to become what it was set out to be at it's inception. So I urge everyone on Steemit to try and bring people over to Steemit and create the true decentralized which is not infested by crypto-crazed loonies like myself who can't talk about anything but cryptocurrency which scares off normal sane people who like to view other contents weather for education, entertainment, etc., but NOT cryptocurrencies.
