What do I want to do, who do I want to be?
These are eternal questions on my journey through life, always restless, introspective and searching for truth.
After long hours reporting the news, exposing corruption and filth I am tired and spent.
There is much darkness and evil in the world. I could turn away but I choose to look it in the eye.
So I come to a crossroad and have a choice to make.
Do I continue to expose and destroy or should I attempt to inspire and build?
I choose the latter because it is what I feel the need to do, who I feel the need to be.
So off I go on my crazy quest armed with a dream and a tiny ray of hope into a seemingly endless dark abyss.
I understand my words are but a whisper, a murmur, a tiny voice in a crowded room.
Maybe I’m heard,
maybe I’m not.
I guess I won’t know,
unless I give it a shot.
