"Daddy I’m Confused". I saw 4 upvotes so I guess at least 4 people read this (Is there a way to tell how many people read it)
First Resteem
My first resteem came from @steemitph. Thanks Bro! I have known Red Dayao for 7 years and he’s the one who invited me to steemit. @steemitph however, is a side of him I haven't met until now. I knew then of his leadership and analytical mind, now I am seeing his gift of writing. I really enjoy reading his short stories, the last one I read was "An Interesting Homework of @dandalioncub". Having known Red for some time now, I was tempted to comment on this post especially about question #1. Realizing that his kids are still young and would need him growing up, I restrained myself. If you are new steemian, I strongly suggest that you follow @steemitph
First comment on my post
@jazzybells was the very first steemian to comment on my post. Thank you ma'am. I've been following her and have learned quite a bit about the important men in her life. In "Desiderata - Valuable Life Lessons That My Father Shared With Me", I was moved by the picture she painted about her father, a loving and dedicated man. In "An old Photograph she posted a picture of a boy next to a photograph who looks exactly like him. Differentiated only by the haircut you'd think they're twins but no they're not. These are @jazzybells husband and son.
First Upvote
My very first upvote also came from @inquiringtimes after I commented on his post thanking him for the tip I got. @inquiringtimes, your post "How to find success as a steemit blogger" has put me in a good direction. Thank you for the tip and thank you for the upvote.
2 other people I wanted to talk about
@mrordinary
He is the first steemian I met who share the same faith as I do which is great. I was looking for something interesting to read when I came across his story "My conversation with an Atheist turned Norse Pagan". Y'all should check it out. Just like me he is also new and I am looking forward to his contributions.
Neil Strauss
He is a former editor, NY times reporter and author. I had no idea who this guy was until I saw his Steemfest Amsterdam video on you tube talking about “The secrets of addictive writing”. The tips he discussed on that video has helped me a lot in my writing. I’ve also started reading the books he published The Game: Penetrating the Secret Society of Pickup Artists and The Truth: An Uncomfortable Book About Relationships
My first two weeks have been great but not in the way I expected it to be. I chose @learningman because I wanted to impart things that I have learned through my writing. It has been a pleasant surprise that the first two weeks has been about learning from others.
