Life can be so hard, sometimes a bit depressing but at the same time worth living. When I was in 10th grade, we were asked to paint on that specific subject about something that gives us peace and that makes us relax and one thing just came easily into my mind that day. Sunset. It is just a mundane thing for some and not for everyone else. But for me, there is so much more than what is perceived by the naked eye. As someone who loves sunset so much, it gives me hope, light and peace. For instance, a fisherman who sails attempting to fish and it is reflected by the sun, it just naturally exudes a different aura, a beautiful glow and an alluring light to everyone.
Whenever I feel sad or my life is not going well, I will just go to one of the best sunset spot in Talisay, Cebu which is incredibly near our house and I would go around like 4 in the afternoon, bringing my favorite snacks and drinks, then strolling and enjoying my own company nearby the beach, watching kids goofing and playing around and patiently waiting for the beautiful sunset.
It just mesmerizes me how the tranquility of the sunset gives me peace and gives me the alone time I needed to embrace. I recommend you all to try to visit this place once in a right time and a fine weather. This is one of the most underrated spots in Talisay, even though there are rare occasion that the place is not as pleasant and as pleasing it is due to bad weather but I swear, there’s this feeling that I cannot fathom even though I kept coming back to this place, it just makes me appreciate life more.
