Behind that curtains like hair
Hides a maiden so fair
She is silent as a mute
But observant as an owl
World darker than oblivion
Yet through the dark, she felt untroubled
Through the dark she finds comfort
Through the dark she finds the effort;
The effort to stand;
The effort to smile;
The effort to make it all worthwhile.
Not all negative things remains negative
So she stayed behind to believe
Not all foolish people stays foolish
So she decided to be wise
Dodging through the walls of lies
Her heart is on her sleeves
For the world to see
Allowing them to notice and get a glimpse of it
To let them know how she managed to fix it
Her courage is building bit by bit!
People said her heart is ugly!
All stitched up and scary!
But she doesn't care
Yes!
She picked it back on her own
She scrutinized herself in the mirror
She smiled;
Caressing her skin
She never felt this beautiful before
So carefree!
She was just broken
But that doesn't stop her to be an eye-catching mosaic
So colorful
So alive
A broken mosaic
An art
A masterpiece.
