The first attraction I got from this movie was the song that started this movie, which is the Santa Claus intro that played before the movie started. Seven Bucks movie productions really did a great job in producing this movie. Actually, I never knew I had this movie among the movies I had in my movie library until this morning when I was looking for a movie to watch to start my day. I remembered I downloaded a series of movies recently, but I can't figure out the new ones, but I was sure of the old ones I had. Now I got to know that this move in Red One was part of the new movies, and I decided to watch and see what it entails.
Red One was directed by Jake Kasdan. The movie stars Dwayne Johnson, who acted as an Extremely Large and Formidable operative (The E.L.F) who had to team up with a some guys like Chris Evans, to rescue the Santa Claus (J.K. Simmons) from the kidnapper who kidnapped him from his home and family. The team needs to do everything possible to ensure that the kidnapper doesn't go free with the Santa Claus because it's Christmas season.
There were a lot of tense moments in this movie, which made it so entertaining to watch. The tensed music brings a lot of suspense, and then one wonders what happens next. It is a mixture of both action and adventure, which is a superb one. The graphics are very lovely, combining with the fact that the quality of the movie is at its peak. I really enjoy the fact that this movie is a mixture of an animated and human movie because it gives it a blend of fun and also there were lots of comedy parts in it.
The CGI was so amazing, and I love them. I love the fact that most actors really put in their best in this movie to make it an amazing one to watch even despite its flaw, which we all know can't be exempted since it's a movie. The likes of Dwayne Johnson as Callum Drift, Chris Evans as Jack O'Malley, Lucy Liu as Zoe Harlow, J. K. Simmons as Santa Claus, Bonnie Hunt as Mrs. Claus, Kristofer Hivju as Krampus, Kiernan Shipka as Gryla, Wesley Kimmel as Dylan, and so on.
What I like about the movie.
- Dwayne Johnson and the others really did well in making it enjoyable.
- I like the Christmas tree and the Christmas celebration that was done in the movie.
- I love how science and technology were combined in the movie.
What I don't really like.
- The time and the music were not really consistent because they were changing at intervals.
- The CGI was not really at its peak but still okay and manageable.

Overall:
No one is perfect, actually, but this movie is worth the watch. Red One is a mixture of series of genres, and it's entertaining, breathtaking and action-packed. This is worth watching if you are a lover of Christmas movies and action/adventure movies. You are going to enjoy it.
