Rainy Days and Random Thoughts... <3

It has been rainy since the new year started. Well, it's nothing new. The first couple of weeks of January are usually like this in my country. And since I work from home, I don't really mind the rain... more so that we're now in the countryside. The sound of rain is beautiful... and the smell of grass and trees is refreshing, especially in such a day.

Today is the first day for most people to get back to their daily life after the holidays. Kids go to school, and some adults go back to work. I started working again on the second day, but I don't mind. I like my job and the fact that I need not commute to work is comforting.

Rainy days must be tough for them. I've experienced that... long ago, when I was a student or when I still worked outside. I love the rain, but I dislike it when I need to go out. Haha Well, except for when I'm meeting my friends for an anime convention or similar events. Those were the days when we'd brave the heavy rain to get to the venue. I wonder where that energy went now. XD

Another kind of butterfly came inside.

This was in the ceiling in the kitchen. It still needs to be repaired and cleaned, but it's all good for now. We can always place some buckets in the parts where water leaks when it rains heavily. So far, there's one in the kitchen, and another on top of the dining table. This place we moved in still needs a lot of improvement, but we'll do it one at a time. We don't have enough budget for that yet.

Recovering from what happened is challenging. I took out some small loans again, and I borrowed from friends. I'll have to work even harder in the coming days to pay them back, but I don't mind. I'll keep at it, and eventually, we'll be able to breathe. Being in this new place is giving me hope... the atmosphere is good, the air is fresh, the scenery is stunning... I feel like I can give it my all. haha

I completed my work quota today, but my earnings this coming payday won't be enough... I couldn't work a lot because of the move, the things we needed to do at the new place and the holiday season. But next two weeks, I'll get back to my usual work schedule. We don't have anything to repair yet because we don't have the budget. hahaha But, we'll be starting our garden soon. Despite being in the countryside, the prices of things are increasing... so, it's better to be self-sufficient. I'll insert helping my parents with gardening to my schedule.

I also arranged my schedule so that I can create a blog post, or do other things at night... well, except for when some students request me for a class. I can't say no to that blessing. XD I want to be consistent with blogging this year, and seeing my account grow and reaching my goal last year, I'm even more motivated to keep doing what I do here on HIVE. :)

Oh well... enough of these ramblings. Let me just share this zoomed in photo I took of Max this morning. Say hello to this gentle giant and my random shot. haha XD

I'll go to bed now, my father and I need to go somewhere tomorrow. I hope it won't rain heavily while we're outside. And ohh... remind me to make a material for my student tomorrow night, ok? Byeeeee~ See you! XD
