Morning Walks in the New Place

As I was browsing through my phone gallery, I realized that I still have some photos I failed to share. Among them are those I took when my father and I were having our morning walks a few days after we transfered. These were taken before Christmas.
We haven't been able to go for a walk or go jogging these days because it's been rainy and there are some parts where it's muddy. Well, that's in addition to the fact that the weather is so comfortable to even get up from bed. *hahaha* I also have to catch up with work because I was so busy helping with the move, repairing, etc... and it was the holiday season. xD
Anyway, the photos I'm going to share were taken in two separate days. Let's get into it!

My high school friend who introduced us this place told me that there's a big chapel nearby... and my father and I found it when we were exploring the place! It's indeed huge compared to the usual chapels.

We also found the Barangay Hall and gymnasium where local events in the area are usually held. This area is considered the center of our barangay. There are more stores like hardware and cafe, but there isn't any local market nearby unlike our previous barangay... but it's ok!

Then, we reached the elementary school. My friend's place is around this area, but I don't know exactly where their house is. We had to decline her invitation last time because we had to head back to the city. A few kilometers further is already a different barangay. We didn't go that far though, because about less than a kilometer from the elementary school, there were three different roads leading to various places and we're not very familiar with them yet. Maybe we'll explore more next time.

Then, we went the opposite direction passing by the intersection to our place. We were searching for some local food that time and we saw a small store selling them around 10 minutes away (on foot). After we bought some food for breakfast and headed back to our place, we say this sign...

It's another chapel on top of a hill which is considered a sanctuary. We haven't been there yet... maybe when it's not rainy anymore, we'll go to the place. My friend said the view from there is also very beautiful.

That walk was on Decembe 20... then the next day, we went for a jog using a different route... and so far, this route has the most scenic view!

We jogged and walk for about an hour. We didn't go further because there were a lot of dogs in one area, so we decided to head back home. hahaha We were able to reach the next barangay, though... and even almost reach the next one. There were a lot of uphill and downhill, so it was perfect for exercise. I can't wait to go around that area again.

However, I think the next time we go for a walk... it'll be to explore the Divine Mercy Hill. :) Anyway, I'll update then...

I'll end this post here. Thanks for reading and see you around! (^^,)/
