Since we transferred here last month, we have only gone for a walk or jog a couple of times. And since my schedule has gone back to normal, I decided to insert this activity more into my week.
Around 5:30 in the morning, my father and I headed out. The moon was still out, and the place was still dark. However, I have a class at eight, so we had to go.

We reached the corner going to our destination in around 10 minutes. Our destination this morning was the Divine Mercy Hill. It's a chapel on top of a small hill.
After walking for another 10 minutes or so, we finally reached it. It was a beautiful and serene place. The chapel was closed, but we could go around the area through a lot of stairs. It's quite steep, but it was safe.
It's quite an enormous monument of Jesus beside the chapel... and angel statues are everywhere. And since it was on a hill, the view from the place was so beautiful. Let me share some of my photos.
> We passed by that tower on our way to the Divine Mercy Hill.
There were so many angels! :)
On the opposite hill is where people can do the Station of the Cross, and according to the caretaker we talked with this morning, there's another chapel on that hill. However, we didn't have enough time to go up there because I had to prepare coffee for breakfast, and also prepare for work. Maybe next time! :)
You can see the factory from afar. That huge factory is by the sea. I didn't know what it was for, so I tried checking online. It turned out that they're creating eco-bricks using plastic waste and coal ashes. That's quite impressive, to be honest. I didn't know that. haha
I took some more photos with my father. It's getting brighter, so photo quality is somehow improving. The place really had a lot of stairs, going up and down, and connecting one area to another. I took some photos of the stairs when I was stading somewhere in the middle.
✨
I took a couple more photos before leaving. It was such a beautiful and peaceful place, and I definitely want to visit again. Hopefully, the chapel will be open by then. Perhaps going in the afternoon would be a nice choice, too.
On our way out, a cute puppy named Chary came to me. The caretaker took her away, and we talked for a bit. I couldn't take Chary's photos because I kind of enjoyed looking at her and petting her, but I was able to take this photo of some turkeys as we headed home.
See you next time! :)
Now, we continued our walk... and we also jogged as we headed home. I also had to stop once in a while to take some photos.
And we're back on the main road. We jogged along the main road because it wasn't busy. There were some stray dogs here and there, but luckily, they didn't follow us. hahaha
Then, we bought some delicious moringa bread with cheese. It was still hot, so it's perfect for breakfast. When we reached home, I prepared the coffee to pair with our bread. And then, got ready for work.
I only worked for a couple of hours and planned to just chill and perhaps catch up with some anime in the afternoon, but my aunt messaged my mom that she suddenly had high blood pressure. She's my mom's younger sister who lives in the next municipality. We were worried about her, so we decided to visit her.
The tarpaulin of my cousin's license exam passing was still up, so we took some photos with it and sent it to our group chat. hahaha My cousin came home from work in the afternoon. We chatted, and my mom gave her sister some advice since she's also hypertensive, but she doesn't take any medication as she's able to manage her blood pressure through lifestyle change.
We headed home before it got dark, but we had to go to the city proper so we could ride a tricycle from the station. My mom doesn't like riding a motorcycle, so we had to take a detour. haha
And since we're already in the area, we went to church, lit some candles, and offered our prayers. It was quite dark when we arrived home, even though it was still before 7 PM, so my father met us halfway to guide my mom. She can't see well in the dark, and the road leading to our house is quite rough. :) We arrived safely, so it's all good!
It was a long day, but generally a good one. I hope my aunt and Arashi (he's not feeling well) feel better soon.
I'll end this post here. Thanks for reading and see you around! (^^,)/
