The best way to eat yam for me is when it's fried in a pan of hot oil with a little salt sprinkled on it.
A sauce to be eaten with it which can be made of tomatoes and peppers blended with some onions. Turn the paste into a pan and fry it with some groundnut oil. Mix any spice of your choice and within seconds the sauce I'd done.
I eat my yam with eggs that have been fried or mashed depending on my mood. But it always turns out yummy. I sprinkle the sauce onto or dip into the sauce with my fried yam.
Thinking about it makes my mouth water.
