Monday Monochrome a few recent shots
Good Morning, I hope you had a good weekend and wishing you a good week ahead
Starting the week as I usually do with a few Monochrome shots, all taken on recent walks even a couple of shots from a spot I had not visited before
Starting in the historic district here in New Bedford, I do love the cobblestome streets and find myself so tempted to edit any shot showing them into a mono edit.
But I should also correct myself, I guess even though I think of them as cobblestones, there actually Belgian blocks.
Cobblestones are naturally rounded, irregular river stones that create a rustic, uneven surface. Conversely, Belgian blocks are quarried, rectangular granite stones with straight lines, providing a more consistent, durable, and formal appearance. While both are highly durable, Belgian blocks offer a smoother surface than the bumpier traditional cobblestone
Well thats how it was described online, but these are not the smooth and are surely bumpy to drive over

Next up still in New Bedford, on a visit to Buttonwood Park, luckily I had taken a longer lens with me to catch this shot of a commorant bird, I do not remember seeing them on the pond there previous years, but there's a few of them there this year. They were still at the pond yesterday when I took a walk there

Next up I am in Fall River, the primary care Doctor we see recently changed the facility he works with and has moved to Fall River, we decided to stick with him for a couple of reasons, firstly we are very happy with him, and secondly as getting into a new Primary care Doctor is a nightmare in New Bedford at the moment, most have months long waiting lists.
I always try to get my appointments early morning, and as it was nice that day I headed to Fall river early for a photo walk, after the sunrise, I drove to check out Kennedy Park in Fall River and got a few shots there .
Including inside this pavillion I Guess one would call it
