Greetings, My dear Hive Fellows.
For the first time in my 5 years of living experience, Beijing had a different winter this year because it did not snow in the whole winter, which is a miracle in my opinion. Even though there was a chance of snow in the earlier months during January, the Beijing Municipal did not get any this year unfortunately. This is a one-of-a-kind winter, with clear blue skies and great air quality for more than 99% of the days which is a great jump to elevate the air quality of Beijing recently. And so travelers like me enjoy Beijing's winter days more because of bright sunny days and clear blue skies. But as a student, I have busy study plans that make it hard for me to travel a long distance area due to short days.
But I don't waste my time during my weekends, so I visit the nearby places with these different winter views, which is quite different than my previous exploration. I am really surprised by how clean it is to live in the Huairou district, which is one of the best districts in Beijing Municipal in terms of natural beauty and healthy environment. Mountains and lakes circle the district on all sides.
You can even see the beautiful mountains in the distance and the clear blue sky all around during these days very clearly. The sky has a very deep blue color here because there is not so much pollution in this part of Beijing Municipal. There are dozens of nature Scenic Spots spread out across the area. After coming back to Beijing from my holiday trip to Bangladesh last month, I went to the Yanqihu Lake Lake area, which is a large area with so many natural scenic sights and considered the 2nd most visited tourist zone after the Great Wall of China in Huairou.
The surrounding area is very beautiful, and the views from the road on the dam are one of the most spectacular scenes that you can explore here. Enjoying the walk to such a beautiful place that will calm your eyes and make your heart feel totally happy was a great experience. It was not so cold during the afternoon time of the day because of the bright sun in the crystal blue sky. The weather was great, and the air quality rating was also excellent to enjoy the walking there.
The distant mountains were also visible due to the clean weather, which is not clearly visible most of the time when the air quality degrades in Beijing. So, you can imagine the views were so charming, and the walking was very comfortable as there was not the northern cold wind that day, which is often so cold in this northern region of the Beijing Municipal.
