When we arrived at Mr. Javier's business, we were delighted to see that he had incorporated one of his sons into the business, which reflects his commitment to keeping the family tradition alive. It is admirable that, after eight years of selling chicha in the same place, the quality and taste has never changed. That's what keeps us coming back again and again.
Al llegar al emprendimiento del señor Javier, nos llenó de alegría ver que había incorporado a uno de sus hijos en el negocio, lo cual refleja su compromiso por mantener viva la tradición familiar. Es admirable que, después de ocho años vendiendo chicha en el mismo lugar, nunca ha cambiado la calidad ni el sabor. Es lo que nos hace regresar una y otra vez.
We had no more to do in the city, so we decided to return home. However, before setting out on our way, we wanted to stop by to visit a friend who lives in the valley, who is going through some health problems. We wanted to surprise her, but when we arrived, we discovered that she was not at home, probably because she had to go to a doctor's appointment. Although we were not able to fulfill our goal of seeing her, I confess that this unexpected stop turned out to be a beautiful experience.
Our friend was not there, but the valley gave us an impressive natural spectacle. The light rains of the previous nights had left their mark, and I was fortunate to be able to admire the large Guayacán trees in all their splendor, in full bloom.
Ya no teníamos más pendientes en la ciudad, así que decidimos regresar a casa. Sin embargo, antes de emprender el camino, quisimos pasar a visitar a una amiga que vive en el valle, que está pasando por algunos problemas de salud. Queríamos darle una sorpresa, pero al llegar, descubrimos que no estaba en casa, seguramente porque había tenido que ir a consulta médica. Aunque no pudimos cumplir nuestro objetivo de verla, les confieso que esta parada inesperada resultó ser una experiencia hermosa.
Nuestra amiga no estaba, pero el valle nos regaló un espectáculo natural impresionante. Las lluvias ligeras de las noches anteriores habían dejado su huella, y tuve la suerte de poder admirar los grandes árboles de Guayacán en todo su esplendor, floridos.
The contrast of their flowers with the greenery of other trees and the blue sky was really impressive. I stood for hours, contemplating the beauty of these trees, as it is not something that can be appreciated every day. I felt a sense of peace and tranquility being among flowering Guayacan trees.
It turns out that their flowering occurs at specific times of the year, usually after brief rains like the ones we have had lately.
If the night rains intensify a little more, I will soon be able to see the mountains tinged with yellow, thanks to the flowering of the Araguaney, which occurs around the month of May. These natural wonders never cease to amaze me.
El contraste de sus flores con el verdor de otros árboles y el cielo azul era realmente impresionante. Me quedé parada durante horas, contemplando la belleza de estos árboles, ya que no es algo que pueda apreciarse todos los días. Sentí una sensación de paz y tranquilidad al estar entre Guayacánes es floridos.
Resulta que su floración ocurre en momentos específicos del año, usualmente después de lluvias breves como las que se han dado últimamente.
Si las lluvias nocturnas se intensifican un poco más, pronto podré ver las montañas teñidas de amarillo, gracias a la floración de los Araguaney, que ocurre cerca del mes de mayo. Estas maravillas naturales no dejan de asombrarme.
After fully enjoying this encounter with nature, we decided to finally set off for home. We returned with a sense of satisfaction and joy. This day was not only productive in terms of work, but also renewing for our soul.
