[ENG/ESP] A Wednesday of landscapes and family ties

Hello dear #wednesdaywalk friends, I wish you a happy Wednesday and full of good energy. I am happy to share with you this very special space. Today I am here to participate in the beautiful Wednesday Walk initiative of our friend @tattoodjay, who every Wednesday invites us to post and discover together different corners of the world. His proposal inspires us to look beyond, to explore and to share our experiences. So today I invite you to join me on the tour I did, I hope you like it!
I decided to take a break from work to dedicate time to an important matter: taking my father to get some necessary medical tests for his next appointment. It is always a priority for me to be present at these times.

Hola queridos amigos de #wednesdaywalk, les deseo un miércoles feliz y lleno de buena energía. Me alegra compartir con ustedes este espacio tan especial. Hoy estoy aquí para participar en la bonita iniciativa de caminata de miércoles de nuestro amigo @tattoodjay, quien cada miércoles nos invita a publicar y descubrir juntos distintos rincones del mundo. Su propuesta nos inspira a mirar más allá, a explorar y a compartir nuestras experiencias. Así que hoy los invito a acompañarme en el recorrido que hice, ¡espero que les guste!
Decidí darle una pausa al trabajo para dedicarle tiempo a un asunto importante: llevar a mi padre a hacerse unos exámenes médicos necesarios para su próxima consulta. Siempre es una prioridad para mí estar presente en estos momentos.

He had to fast, and knowing how hard that is for him, I thought I would bring something light to snack on as soon as he finished his tests. So, I took some juice and cookies with me so that he would soon recover his energy and feel comfortable.

Él tenía que estar en ayunas, y sabiendo lo mucho que le cuesta eso, pensé en llevar algo ligero para merendar en cuanto finalizara sus pruebas. Por eso, llevé conmigo un jugo y unas galletas para que recuperara pronto sus energías y se sintiera cómodo.

When he finished his exams and sat down to have a snack, he told me that the weather was ideal for a walk, and of course I didn't hesitate to accept the idea. It was the perfect time to enjoy and relax a bit. I had already told our clients that we would not be available today because of work, so everything was planned to dedicate quality time to my father. My husband and I decided to take him to the Angel Beach area, a place he had not visited in a long time. I knew he would love this trip, because the area has beautiful landscapes and the atmosphere is impregnated with fresh sea air that makes it relaxing.

Cuando terminó sus exámenes y se sentó a merendar, me comentó que el clima estaba ideal para un paseo, y por supuesto no dudé en aceptar la idea. Era el momento perfecto para disfrutar y relajarnos un poco. Ya había avisado a nuestros clientes que hoy no estaríamos disponibles por el trabajo, así que todo estaba planeado para dedicarle tiempo de calidad a mi padre. Mi esposo y yo decidimos llevarlo al sector Playa el Ángel, un lugar que no visitaba desde hace mucho tiempo. Sabía que ese paseo le encantaría, porque la zona tiene paisajes preciosos y el ambiente está impregnado del aire fresco del mar que lo hace relajante.

During the walk, my father kept praising how beautiful everything was. Every detail filled him with joy and nostalgia, reminding him of the days when he used to frequent this area more regularly. He made it clear to me that we should come back with more time to enjoy an afternoon together in front of the sea, chatting as he likes.

Durante el paseo, mi padre no dejó de elogiar lo hermoso que estaba todo. Cada detalle lo llenaba de alegría y nostalgia, recordándole los días en los que solía frecuentar esta zona con mayor regularidad. Me dejó claro que debemos volver con más tiempo para disfrutar juntos de una tarde frente al mar, conversando como a él le gusta.

After enjoying the ride, it was time to take my father back home, as it was getting close to lunchtime and time to take his medication. We decided to change the route and go through part of the Atamo, where he lives. It was surprising to discover how beautiful this area is. With its urban and natural landscapes contrasting in a charming way, every corner offered a new postcard. To be honest, I had not explored this part before, and it was a wonderful discovery.

Luego de disfrutar el paseo, era momento de llevar a mi padre de regreso a su casa, pues se acercaba la hora del almuerzo y de tomar sus medicamentos. Decidimos cambiar la ruta y recorrer parte del Atamo, donde él vive. Fue sorprendente descubrir lo hermosa que es esa área. Con sus paisajes urbanos y naturales que contrastan de manera encantadora, cada esquina ofrecía una nueva postal. Siendo honesta, no había explorado esta parte antes, y fue un descubrimiento maravilloso.

After dropping my father off at home, we headed back home with great satisfaction. It was a special day, where I was able to spend time with him, talk to him, and make him feel happy. Every moment shared reinforces how valuable it is to take advantage of these moments with the people we cherish.

Después de dejar a mi padre en casa, nos dirigimos de vuelta al hogar con una gran satisfacción. Fue un día especial, donde pude dedicarle tiempo, conversar, y hacer que se sintiera feliz. Cada instante compartido refuerza lo valioso que es aprovechar estos momentos con las personas que apreciamos.
