Miss Hive
A warm hello to everyone. Today a drawing that I didn't draw specifically for a game or anything like that.
I had a spontaneous thought, after I finished my Splinterlands fanart, I thought or asked myself how a kind of superhero character for Hive could look like. Yeah, probably some artists have already done this over the time of Hive's existence, certainly not a totally new idea, but I wanted to try to realize my idea.
Hm, I stuck to the red, square logo. Which is fitting for the blockchain. So I wanted to have these elements in the drawing.
Then I thought a bluish skin color would also fit better with the technology theme. Technical things are often represented in a deep or bluish color.
But I still need something eye-catching. Hm, why not red hair. It's so colorful and a clear contrast to blue. We already know such colors from the hero scene. Which seems familiar.
But the skin should also have such a chip-like pattern... I did my best to realize it.
As always on a layer with a brush, which I use in different strengths and intensities.
In the end I wanted to have a Mystic-like character, changeable like the Hive Blockchain or with the possibility of transformation and further development. I found the Marvel character Mystic quite nice as a visual template.
But what are Miss Hive's skills? After thinking of various heroes and anti-heroes, from DC to Marvel to the Watchmen series, I thought to myself that dear Miss Hive presents the elemental power of the Ether. She is a primal force and not really interested in human desires. She can change her appearance, which is why some mistake her for a mundane shapeshifter, but she can do so much more.
A few of her known abilities are: Foem shifter, duplication/multiplication, telepathy, teleportation and of course the power over universal energies and anomalies.
As she presents one of the elementals as Ether, she is timeless and does not age. It simply exists.
Well, what do you think of my idea?
Oh yes, briefly mentioned, even if it's not relevant at the moment. I will have to cash out some of my hive/HBD mkr otherwise I will die here without air conditioning!!!! Yes, I use my wallet for a short time so that I don't have to endure 40 degrees room temperature every day, the air conditioning I need will cost me almost 600 euros, because I'm also renovating and since I had already invested my fiat money, I only had my wallet left. I am reluctant to cash out and try to deposit something again or will not make such withdrawals because I want to keep my Hive and HBD.
Miss Hive
Ein herzliches Hallo in die Runde. Heute mal eine Zeichnung, welche ich nicht speziell für ein Spiel oder dergleichen gezeichnet habe.
Ich hatte einen spontanen Gedanken, nachdem ich mit meiner Splinterlands Fanart fertig war, dachte ich mir bzw. fragte mich, wie wohl eine Art Superhelden Charakter für Hive aussehen könnte. Jaja, wahrscheinlich haben das über die Zeit des Bestehens von Hive schon einige Künstler hier umgesetzt, sicherlich kein total neuer Gedanke, aber ich wollte mal meine Idee dazu versuchen umzusetzen.
Hm, ich hielt mich am roten, quadratisch gutem Logo. Was ja passend für die Blockchain ist. Also wollte ich diese Elemente in der Zeichnung haben.
Dann dachte ich, eine bläuliche Hautfarbe würde auch besser zum Thema Technologie passen. Oft werden technische Dinge gründlich oder bläulich repräsentiert.
Aber etwas eye-catching brauch ich noch. Hm, warum nicht rote Haare. Das ist so farbenprächtig und ein klarer Kontrast zu blau. Auch kennen wir solche Farben schon ais der Heldenszene. Was vertraut scheint.
Doch die Haut sollte auch so ein Chipartiges Muster haben... Ich hab mein bestes gegeben, um es umzusetzen.
Wie immer aif einem Layer mit einem Pinsel, welchen ich in verschiedenen Stärken und Intensitäten nutze.
Am Ende wollte ich einen Mystic ähnlichen Charakter haben, wandelbar wie die Hive Blockchain bzw. mit der Möglichkeit der Transformation und Weiterentwicklung. Ich fand den Marvel Charakter Mystic als optische Vorlage ganz nice.
Doch was sind die Fähigkeiten von Miss Hive? Nachdem ich an diverse Helden und Antihelden dachte, von DC zu Marvel zu der Watchmen Reihe, dachte ich mir, dass die liebe Miss Hive die elementare Kraft des Ethers präsentiert. Sie ist eine Urkraft und nicht wirklich interessiert an menschlichen Gelüsten. Sie kann ihre Optik wandeln, weshalb manche sie mit einem banalen Formwandler verwechseln, dabei kann sie so viel mehr.
Ein paar ihrer Fähigkeiten, welche bekannt sind, wären: Foemwandler, Dublikation/ Vervielfältigung, Telepathie, Teleportation und natürlich die Macht über universelle Energien und Anomalien.
Da sie eines der Urelemnten als Ether präsentiert, ist sie zeitlos und altert nicht. Sie existiert einfach.
Na, was sagt ihr zu meiner Idee?
Ach ja, kurz erwähnt, auch wenn es grad nichts zur Sache tut. Ich werde einen Teil meiner Hive/HBD mkr auszahlen lassen müssen, da ich hier sonst ohne Klimaanlage sterbe!!! Ja, ich nutze meine Wallet mal kurz, damit ich nicht täglich 40 Grad Raumtemperatur ertragen muss, die Klimaanlage, die ich brauche, wird mich knapp 600 Euro kosten, da ich auch noch am renovieren bin und da achon mein Fiat money investiert hatte, blieb mir nun nur meine Wallet. Ich lasse mich ungern auszahlen und versuche mal wieder was einzuzahlen bzw. Werde solche Auszahlungen nicht ofr machen, da ich meine Hive und HBD schon hern hoodlen möchte.
