Recently, I took a trip to a local farm for a church activity. At the farm, they had Alpacas!!! We were able to pet them, but the males would get very nervous when you got too close. Thank goodness none of the little kids got kicked while running around! I am surprised Alpacas are able to live in Illinois, but I am no alpaca expert.
