We have always believed that working hard pays and that is why many put so much effort in life to achieve a set out objectives. And we also know that life sometimes fail us with what we ask of it, but we have still not stopped working hard, putting efforts to achieve our goals despite sometimes frustration sets in trying to discourage us or bring us down.

The reason why we believe in putting effort in life to achieve our aims and objectives is because we know that without efforts in life, nothing will be successful for us despite sometimes we fail and start all over again. This is the phenomenon of life.

And reflecting on why we must always put efforts to achieve our goals, I referenced it to having dreams because dreams are what motivates us most times to put all we have in us towards a set out objective , believing with optimism that we will achieve it at the end. This is seen as the zeal in a man 👨, having goals and believing in ourselves which gives us the push of efforts to make dreams a reality.

The one time I felt so fulfilled and achieved was in 1918 when I had a hug project to supervise a building that has to start from foundation to completion. This project actually came as a surprise to me because it was a project that has been given to someone else ti handle as a supervisor. But the problem that arose along the supervision made the owner to take the supervisor away. A problem of being fishy on site and conniving with suppliers for money 💰.

So I was called upon this project to take over through recommendation. And it was overwhelming to me knowing that this is something huge that will never be easy. And to be honest with you guys it was never easy. Challenges started before I even knew it, both from laborers and some of assistance called the Engineers on site.

The problem here is that when you are surrounded by many people with different mindsets and goals you will begin to have lots of challenges, trying to be diplomatic for things to move well and not affect the work you are made to supervise. I was putting lots of effort to keep a neutral ground because my focus was how the project will be achieved.

And as time began to pass some the Engineers started cajoling me to make deals with the supplies to be adding extra money in the material purchase so that we can all be sharing the money 💰 but I stood my ground that everyone is receiving salary. Who ever that feels that he or she is not satisfied with the salary should talk to the Boss, (the owner of the project ). And it did not end at this. They started sabotaging my work, but I was bent on making sure the laborers were on my side so that work flow will not slow down.

However, as the year moves gradually, the building work was moving and things happening due to how workers are changed according to stages of building work. The Architects were having less work to do on site since the building was already structured. Other areas of work was always involving those at the various stages.. This was when I started filling sense of fulfillment in me because the tension was already reduced and I was hoping that soon enough the building project be roofed.

And finally by the end of 2018 the painting 🖼 of the building commenced and took us into early 2019 with the owner of the project filling so happy with me and very grateful 😊 for having made sure the work never suffered because I never knew he was aware of all that was going on in the site through some workers. I was indeed also happy 😃 to have received such a gratitude 🙏 even though it was not made possible by me but by God. This was one effort I have made in life that kept me filling so fulfilled. An opportunity that even made me became stronger to handle things differently in life since we keep learning everyday.
