🌿 Simple Joys on Sunday: From the stove to the green garden and a warm dinner table ❤️🙏🏻

Hello, my lovely friends!

We meet again on this much-awaited Sunday. For many, Sunday might be a day off to sleep in, but for a stay-at-home mom like me, today is a day of pure joy as I take care of my loved ones.

🕒 Start your day with mindfulness

This early morning began with the task of taking my daughter to her extracurricular activities. Even though it's a holiday, school is important. I quickly went into the kitchen to make a simple, fragrant, and energizing omelet for my daughter to eat before she left. My husband drove her.
After dropping my daughter off, the house was quiet again. I used this time to take care of my mother-in-law, preparing breakfast for her, before moving on to tending to our little pets. I swept, mopped, and washed the dishes until everything was sparkling clean. Seeing the house tidy was incredibly heartwarming.

🛺 A Ride on a Motorbike to the Garden House 🏡

When my husband returned, we both hopped on our trusty motorbike and headed to our garden house. The cool breeze along the way was incredibly refreshing! Upon arriving at the garden, our first activity was greeting the little inhabitants: ducks, chickens, geese, and a school of fish. Today, I brought snacks and rice grains to feed them. Seeing them happily munching on the food made me smile too.
The highlight of the day was searching for eggs. We walked through the bushes, and today we were very lucky to find a total of 13 fresh duck and chicken eggs. Although some were eaten by local birds, that's okay; sharing is the way of nature.
On the way back, we stopped at another white house to pick fresh papayas and kaffir lime leaves from the tree to use in cooking at home.

🥘 Family Lunch...The Taste of Happiness

As soon as I got home, I rushed into the kitchen to prepare lunch for the kids. A little while later, my husband picked up our daughter and niece. On the table today was stir-fried pork with curry paste and bitter beans – a flavorful dish with a fragrant herbal aroma – served with hot omelets.
The atmosphere of sitting down to eat together as a family, listening to the children tell stories about their school days, is the most fulfilling and uplifting moment for me.

The happiness of a housewife like me may not be in traveling far away, but in seeing my family well-fed, seeing the garden I've tended bearing fruit, and the small moments of warmth that happen every day.
