The Silk Road and 2 Worms
I have always thought that these two looked alike. What do you guys think?
If you don't know who Ross Ulbricht is or know about the Silk Road, I will post a Wiki link here;
Ross Ulbricht. Here is a link for the
Silk Road. Ross and the Silk Road are considered to be one of the first true darknet marketplaces that used the cryptocurrency of BITCOIN, helping Bitcoin further along in its quest to become the currency of the World and the Internet. Ross also had some ideological ideas behind his creating and running the Silk Road that he believed could make for a more peaceful and better world.
I don't know the whole story but I do know that Ross was convicted to multiple life sentences, all the while some of the agents involved in his investigation and ultimately lifetime conviction where committing crimes themselves. In fact, one of the agents was convicted of two separate crimes that occurred during the Silk Road investigation, which included money laundering of the Silk Road Bitcoins.
Makes you wonder if Ross wasn't unjustly convicted by tainted or even made up evidence against him, especially when you have the agents investigating him trying to get rich from the same said investigation. The rogue DEA agent received a 2 year and a 6 year sentencing while Ross received 2 Life Time sentences. The other rogue agent received 6 years for also stealing Silk Road funds.
Shouldn't these two agents also receive Life Sentences because they knowingly stole Bitcoins that belonged to an illegal drug market?
Ross ran an illegal drug market and made profit in Bitcoin = 2 Life Sentences
2 DEA agents investigating Ross and the Silk Road stole Bitcoins that came from illegal drug transactions (proof is Ross' conviction) = 6 years in Prison.
Are they not both as dirty as Ross for they knew where the money was coming from?
This time they got caught, makes you wonder how many other people haven't been done in like this before without the benefit of the World knowing that the agents convicting you are just as dirty.
Let me know what you guys think.
Here is a link with info on how you can write to Ross or help out his cause.
