“I think there is a way out of the company's recent problem”, Tobi was so great in bringing out idea from his talented mind. It was just as if he were gifted and does not know how to use it to practice.
The company he is working with had a little setback as a result of the recent update they made in their social media platforms. They made a silly mistake that cost them a massive loss. They did not just lose in their business, but also in all their social media platforms. They lost so many subscribers.
“What idea would a common worker like you brings out”, his colleague who always want to know everything inquire from him.
“My idea would, make them bounced back big time and can make them be the best out of other investors as well as acquiring new subscribers”, he repeated. He was only trying to help the company in the hard time.
“Spill it out and let me see if yours supersede mine”, Alaba, his colleague was so anxious to grab his idea just in case to push his position higher.
“The best is for the company to create a money website, as this is what they are good at. They should treat it and make the first deposit a 100% welcome bonus”, Tobi opened up as he had made research and had never seen any site built for bonus.
“This is not the best idea to revive the company presently”, Alaba said as he was quietly thinking of taking this best idea to the CEO of the company.
Misbaa eriA week later, the company called for an emergency meeting. Everyone was so surprise of this kind of meeting, which had never happened before. Meanwhile, Alaba had dressed differently and even put on a suite. Everyone was so shocked to see him in such dressing.
“what’s going on?” Tobi asked.
“I just decided to put on this today just as a result of the cold since I’m not that balance health wise”, Alaba said but deep in his mind was a different plan.
“This meeting was called to tell you all that we have found a lasting and superb solution to our mistakes. Alaba will explain to us how to go about it and will give us the best way to tackle the problem”, the CEO said. Tobi was just short of words as he listened to Alaba to give his best idea. The whole staff were all surprised and one of them said “this was the reason he wore the best outfit today, hm mm. What an opportunity”.
Alaba started bringing out his idea, which happened to be the same idea Tobi had discussed with him. “No wonder he was anxious of knowing what was in my mind so that he will use it to outshine me. He thought he had won, right? But he has no idea of the aftermath. He would have waited a bit for me to give him all the idea I had in me. Thank goodness that I did not tell him the way forward except the solution”, Tobi soliloquized.
When Alaba was done talking, everyone, including the CEO, clapped their hands and waited for questions.
“Is there anyone with a different idea or question to ask?” the CEO asked as there were great smiles on his face.
Alaba was also smiling to have gained the interest of the management. He was the happiest being on earth. He never thinks of the one who he stole the idea from.
No one wanted to say a word instead had all agreed to Alaba’s idea. “Then this meeting is …..ov……”. Before the CEO finished his statement, Tobi raised his hands to speak.
“Do you have a question or a contribution?” The CEO asked.
“I have a question and a solution”, Tobi said as Alaba’s mind raised.
“How then do we channel the technology of making this happened with the social media channel as well as to make the masses aware of the development?” Tobi asked as he sat quietly waiting for an answer.
Alaba could not say a word instead kept mute as some cold went straight into his spines. He had not seen this coming. The board and the CEO had to keep quiet waiting for Alaba to give them a fast response. He had failed to response and had failed the management as well as the CEO.
“Since Alaba was unable to give response, can you enlighten us better”, the CEO asked politely while Alaba was really feeling ashamed of himself.
“Before building the app, the masses have to know the plans of the company through the social media handles. It may be just like hind and after which the plan will come to reality. All the subscribers have to be informed that for the first deposit, they will have a hundred percent welcome bonus. The company had to cater for the risks as this would bring queue to the website making the social media to be flooded with too many subscribers”, the whole board stood up as they applaud Tobi for his new added idea.
“With your explanations, it strongly suggested that the initial idea was also in your thought, right?” one of the members asked.
“Yes, I was all his idea, I just need to apologize to him for stealing his idea”, Alaba said in the midst of everyone.
The company started making the good number of subscribers and also started making good profit from the app they had created after a month.
