Hagamos un broche inspirado en Bmo.//Let's make a brooch inspired by Bmo.(Esp-Eng)

¡Hola a todos! Este es mi aporte a la iniciativa de #diygaming. Me pareció una idea muy bonita hacer un broche inspirado en BMO, el peculiar personaje de la serie animada Hora de Aventura. Si conoces a BMO, seguramente has vivido momentos divertidos junto a esta serie.

Hi everyone! This is my contribution to the #diygaming initiative. I thought it would be a really cute idea to make a brooch inspired by BMO, the quirky character from the animated series Adventure Time. If you know BMO, you've probably had some fun times with this show.

  • Papel aluminio
  • Silicón líquido
  • Esmalte de uñas colo azul
  • Brillo de uñas
  • Tijeras
  • Mostacillas de color (negro,verde,rojo, amarillo y azul)
  • Una pinzas
  • Un aro y un alfiler de gancho

  • Aluminum foil
  • Liquid silicone
  • Blue nail polish
  • Nail polish
  • Scissors
  • Colored beads (black, green, red, yellow, and blue)
  • Tweezers
  • A jump ring and a safety pin

  • Paso 1: moldea la base

Para esta parte te recomiendo mucho el papel aluminio para este tipo de manualidades ya que cuando se moldea queda muy resistente, siendo este un material útil para hacer manualidades,como se muestra en la imagen lo que hice fue darle forma redonda para luego ir haciendo presión y luego con las tijeras le di la forma cuadrada.

  • Step 1: Shape the base

For this part, I highly recommend aluminum foil for this type of craft because when molded it becomes very resistant, making it a useful material for crafting. As shown in the image, what I did was give it a round shape, then apply pressure, and then use scissors to give it a square shape.

  • Paso 2: pintar

En esta parte pase a pintar con el esmalte de uñas,para un mejor acabo. Pero antes le coloque el aro por qué si lo hacía después iba a ser difícil.

  • Step 2: Paint

In this part, I moved on to painting it with nail polish for a better finish. But first, I attached the hoop because it would be difficult to do it later.

  • Paso 3 colocar los detalles

Un detalle principal es la pantalla o la cara de Bmo, y la hice también con el papel aluminio y le coloque las mostacillas como ojos y boca, y los botones también son mostacillas que fui coloco silicón líquido.

  • Step 3: Add the details

A key detail is the screen or Bmo's face, and I also made it with aluminum foil and added beads as eyes and mouth, and the buttons are also beads that I attached with liquid silicone.

  • Paso 4:colocando el alfiler de gancho

Por último le coloque una capa de brillo de uña que hace que tenga una capa protectora sobre los detalles y así no se soltaran,y deje que se secara bien. Y ya después era el momento de colocar el alfiler de gancho y lucir este broche de Bmo.

  • Step 4: placing the safety pin

Finally, I applied a coat of clear nail polish to give the details a protective layer so they wouldn't come loose, and then I let it dry completely. After that, it was time to attach the safety pin and show off this BMO brooch!
