Camera Setup For Bass View While Performing

2025-03-09T16:44:00
This post will feature my current camera rig. I want to record performances. I want to hear it well/BETTER and almost isolated.
I once had a GoPro. A nice person gave it to me. It was old and yet highly functional. The battery went bad after a year or two. The GoPro eliminated several devilish details related to recording my performances. Currently, the GoPro is out of commission and I probably just need to find a new battery for it.

The camera mount for it lives on.

I added a few segments/elbows to the base of the GoPro.

These extra joints are good for my new my camera holder to latch onto.

The final piece is this phone holder.

It’s grip/clamp is excellent at holding securely to the GoPro attachments. The clamp part of this phone holder looks like it was designed for a pole.

After using it for some time I noticed the logo.

It’s a guitar. This thing was made to clamp onto a music stand. I was doing that for a while, remember? We didn’t really like it that much, remember? 😂

All together now.

Every videographer and gynecologist’s dream tool.
For me, it’s the ultimate, most convenient, lowest maintenance recording device.
The screen will be facing away from me.
This is a double edged sword. I should be able to see everything in frame, but the fisheye lens/wide angle lens only functions on the front camera.
Yep, recording everything‘s gonna be a piece of cak…. oh shit… my phone battery is way way way … way past it’s prime.
I’ll tackle that when I get there.

Thanks for the support.

Thanks for the counter votes also.

How can we better waste that spammer‘s resource credits?
