We are very pleased to announce that we were able to attract students to join the lab, based on Steemit and the new developments in the crypto environment. We have successfully convinced 7 youngsters to join the Steemit community from whom 3 were able to publish at least one original post.
It has been great working with these thirsty learners, they have been highly motivated from the start and got completely absorbed with what the platform could offer.
We are hoping to attract more youth into the program, it has only been two months now and we expect the @steemlab community to grow at a faster pace in the next few months.
Our lab now has two computers, a professional camera, a midi keyboard and a set of a little under 100 books in English. The students are physically attending the sessions at least once a week to take advantage of the learning spirit we provide and also the experience of our mentors.
We are hoping for the support of fellow Steemians to get this project moving forward and growing in a country where English falls as a third language.
The future is bright and we are sure if more kids join in and embrace this technology, we would see great things happen in this space.
