After weeks of absolute panic due to university submission deadlines, I've spent the last few weeks trying to relax. That hasn't been too difficult from a personal standpoint, work on the other hand has been crazy.
The warm dry spring has been good for the soul. Living by the coast means it's generally cooler than inland, but we've been spoilt with light winds, lots of sunshine and recently, t-shirt friendly temperatures.
Our walk on the beach yesterday was tremendous. It feels it isn't that often the North Sea is this still. The hint of sea mist seemed to make it an even more perfect way to start the day.
There was of course some brave people having their morning dip. This was just after 06:15.

Lola was sporting her new short haircut, but wasn't impressed I asked her to pose for a photo with the sun in her eyes.

We had a shorter walk this morning so just went to the park. Lola gets taken out by a dog walker on Wednesdays, so she can catch up with all her doggy friends on a long walk.
It wasn't sandy, but was still lovely.

The low mist is always a nice thing to see.

That's about it for now as my lunch break is about to end. Back to the wonderful world of work.
