Seb Ogier won WRC Rally Portugal 2025

Hi, friends!

We saw this weekend another great performance of eight-time World Rally champion Seb Ogier who managed to score another win in his career and right now he has string of wins in Portugal which is amazing achievement. Congratulations.

Shame on Hyundai, the team who can't deliver the right machinery to their drivers, and they really have top names behind a steering wheel of their i20 Rally1 cars. It seems that their boss decided to early to go into the circuit racing without even finishing this season first.

We had two Hyundai drivers battling for the win - Ott Tanak and Adrien Fourmaux and both of them lost the wins because of mechanical issues. I guess that their boss must be dedicated to what they do 100% and nothing less then this. This is not the right path for the team because they are losing in the last rallies to Toyota. M-Sport guys are there as a team which rent their cars to private drivers anyway.

Ott Tanak managed to close the gap to 8s and 2nd place overall to the winner but that's all he could do after power steering failure. Kalle Rovanpera (Toyota) finished 3rd overall and the podium is currently good for two-time WRC championm because Hankkok tires don't suit him well.

Current champion Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) finished 4th while Takamoto Katsuta (Toyota) did good for 5th place overall. Current championship leader Elfyn Evans finished 6th and this wasn't event to remember after cleaning road duties during the weekend.

Next rally is on island of Sardinia in less then three weeks. Interesting season is ahead of top guys in the sport. Enjoy...
