Solo's weekly picks: Gardens

2023-04-25T12:21:06
When I am out and about, I have been seeing peoples crops and gardens popping up around where I live. It is starting to warm up, though today was a frosty morning. But soon that will all be over with. For others around the world they started gardens as well recent, some even had gardens that carried over from last year with temperate enough weather.

Here are five Hive minnows and plankton talking about their gardens:

Growing lettuce in a hydroponic setup it has done quite well over the last two months. Amazing you can just put water in the bottom and not need to refill it the whole time. Also some planters are shown off with herbs inside. And lots of little plants coming up in pots soon to be transplanted. Great progress on your garden @sunscape!

Another hydroponic post, but this time a different kind of lettuce and some bok choy is grown as well using hydroponics. Many other things are being grown such as a plant known as Kangkong, I had to look that up and its goes by some other names as well but not sure if I have ever seen it. And mint is being grown as well, great setup there.

Still in the process of treating papaya plants by @munos

https://peakd.com/hive-140635/@munos/still-in-the-process-of-treating-papaya-plants
Growing some papaya plants they are looking quite happy, with large trunks and big fruit the tree is coming along quite nicely. Its always cool to see people growing plants I cannot grow due to cold weather where I live. So best of luck in the warmer regions.

That's my five picks for this week, come back next week to see
Solo's next weekly picks. I curate posts every Tuesday and do this through MSP. Thanks so much to the Minnow Support Group for giving me the opportunity to serve as a curator!
