Kangri (fire pot ) or portable fire pot. It is only used in Kashmir in winters. It keeps people warm during winter. we can also use Kangri under blankets , shawls etc. Now a days 30% of people have replaced Kangri with electric heaters, power blankets, gas heaters etc. But 70% of people are still using Kangri in Kashmir during winters.it is the very old tradition in Kashmir and people prefer Kangri because they can take it along . It is filled with charcoal.
