One of the things that has been inspiring me the most in my home lately is my pink backyard, especially when it is in bloom with a pink rose bush that I planted myself. In fact, I spread cuttings in pots all around the yard, and many of them took root. That makes me incredibly happy, because roses are my favorite flower and I am in love with how everything feels so poetic around here.
These photos were taken in November, when spring was already coming to an end. Even so, the weather was very warm and rainy, which made my plants look lush and full of flowers. I think I might have gotten a little carried away and took too many photos, mainly because I love seeing the roses next to the pink cross-stitch painting I made on one of the walls.
It could not feel more like me.
