Being the last day of the semester exam, my son and his friends decided for a short drive, few kms away from his hostel. We just went their to pick him up, but when he told about this short drive. It really sounded interesting . So we too joined them.

In a short span of time, may be in an hour or two we reached the desired destination. This is Wagamon in Idukki district, Kerala, South India. We left home by 6.45 a.m. and reached their by 8.00 a.m. Such a serenity in this place.

As we moved early morning, we had the privilege to watch the sunrise. Beauty striking amidst long grasses. Its a hilly area where you should have the patience to trek. This is one of the best place for trekking. Nearby, there is a pine forest.
