Sleeper Cabinet

By @shadowcts4/19/2018wood

Hello!

I just want to share my creative side to this Steemit platform. Now that I’m a salted Steemian here, I’d love to connect and share my ideas and creativity.

So sleeper is used as wood for the old steam train railways. Now that we are moving into a more electrical era in this day and age, lest we not forget South Africa also coming along for the proverbial ride of a lifetime, the train tracks are getting phased out more and stays unused or gets built over.

That jwood I use to build beautiful cabinets. As it’s a very hard wood, obviously, it also needs specialized blades and machinery.

Before I get carried away by all the technicalities of everything included in here, let me show you my work

Here is some fresh sleeper sawed up, ready to be manufactured into beautiful furnishings or cabinets:

The black is caused by the sleeper leaking oil, then it burns the wood. Luckily, we can get that quickly sanded to get a good wood finish.

I lpersonally like this gloss finish I put on here, it’s plain woodoc and protects the wood from any dust or dirt!

Next time I’ll be sure to include more ‘in the process’ access to my cabinet building.

Now for the big finish
