Hello, beer lovers! π»
I was out all day working as planned, but not according to my plan. I don't plan anything in principle π, but my better half does, and then I must make it happen.
It was still quite hot, considering it rained a bit every day all week. But I won't bore you with the details. I'm home now, and since I made her wish come true, I deserve a reward.
Liquid :)
Yes, I have two bottles of beer waiting for me in the fridge, one Irish and one Slovenian. I'll happily share my beer experience for the 410 #beersaturday.

Hop Adventure Single Hop IPA
Brewed by
O'Hara's Brewery, County Carlow, Ireland.
Bottle, 0.5 l, alcohol 5.0% ABV, IBU 35. It's a single-hop IPA.
What do the Master Brewers say?
The fourth edition of O'Hara's Hop Adventure Series is a single-hop IPA showcasing Styrian Wolf - an exciting new hop varietal from Slovenia. Flavours of blueberry, raspberry, and tropical fruits.
Well, that's interesting. Styrian Wolf hops are commonly used to brew lagers and pilsners.
The beer is golden in colour, with an average head that disappears quickly. It has an herbal aroma. A sip goes smoothly down the throat, and I taste a pleasant hop bitterness in the mouth, joined by blueberries and herbs in the background. I did not taste any tropical fruit.
The bitterness lingers in the aftertaste for a while.
It is a very fresh and tasty beer. Although I didn't taste the tropical fruits, I liked this beer. It is unavailable in local shops; I found it in Ljubljana in E-Leclerc. Maybe there will be some in my fridge; you never know.

And what did I do today? Mowing the grass around the field, and at my wife's request (or plan) π:) I made a kind of improvised support or stand for peas. I put a net on the poles for the peas to climb on.

It looks terrible, but who cares π.
We shall see. I did something like this last year for cucumbers, but there weren't many...

Let's move on, one more beer to go!
Novy NEIPA
Brewed by
Maister Brewery, Kamnik, Slovenia.
Bottle, 0.5 l, alcohol 5.0% ABV, IBU 40. It's a New England IPA-style beer.
What do the Master Brewers say?
A cloudy New England IPA with pineapple tones and a strong aroma of grapefruit and lime. An excellent fusion of juiciness and medium bitterness. Amarillo, Mosaic hops.
Inspired by Lili Novy, the first Slovenian lyric poet, a polyglot and translator of poetry.
Yes, Maister Brewery names all its beers after famous and important Slovenians.
The beer is cloudy yellow, with a considerable and persistent head. It smells of tropical fruits. It goes down the throat smoothly, and the bitterness of the hops is the first thing that appears on the palate, not too much, but less bitter than the previous one. Next to that, there are flavours of pineapple and grapefruit.
The bitterness of the hops and grapefruit lingers in the aftertaste, and it all disappears.
Tasty and drinkable beer!
It's a very good NEIPA, if you ask me. It's not too bitter but well harmonised with the tropical flavours of pineapple and grapefruit. Occasionally available in local shops, some will be in my fridge.

And what am I listening to when tasting beers and writing this? Something from
Fridays #newtunes. Melodic, minimal, and repetitive rock tune.
Thank you for your attention.
