Yesterday was another good steps day where I was able to get over ten thousand steps.
Markets seem to not like the tariffs and down across the board.
Crypto is holding up fairly well, considering the downside action in the stock market.
AERO is down big and seems to have fallen through major support levels. All of the gains from last year are pretty much wiped out:
Sure, it looks like the altcoin pump has been canceled. I think it is a good time to accumulate SPS, Hive, and other altcoins.
If we fall into a recession, I don't see the altcoin pump happening during the recession, but recessions end, and sometime during the recession, there will be great opportunities to buy all kinds of assets.
Recessions are the time when you can buy stuff cheap and make real gains when asset prices inevitably appreciate.
I wonder what the Spring market in real estate is going to look like. Before these tariffs, things looked pretty good, but after the tariffs came out worse than expected, it could put a damper on the selling season.
My hope is that I will squeeze in right before everything goes to the dumpster. BTW, the image of the dumpster is from my house. They are replacing the roof.
It turned out a bit more expensive than estimated as it turned out there are lots of rotten plywood under the old roof shingles. At least fifteen sheets of plywood. And pretty much a full dumpster of stuff just from the roof.
The weather today was really awesome. It really feels like the spring has come to the Seattle area. I was cutting grass and doing some edging today.
It took much longer than I had expected, just to mow the lawn, edge it and fertilize it took me over four hours and over fifteen thousand steps today.
The lawn had tall grass and the lawn mower bag was quickly filling up. Then I had to dump it into the yard waste bin many times. There was a lot of moss in the grass, so I put a large bag of hertilizer with moss control.
If that doesn't work I might have to use Moss out on it next time. I also did some removal of the funky looking stuff that my dad put up for the grapes. I removed it and looks much better now.
Before it had a couple of fishing lines and lots of colorful strings hanging off the fishing lines that dad used to tie grapevine to the fishing lines.
It all looked really funky and our real estate agent suggested to remove that in order not to "confuse people " 😀
Well, there sure is plenty of work to do on this property. And I know what I will be doing outside of my main job and playing Splinterlands brawls.
I do have a feeling that despite all the economic turmoil Splinterlands will have a great year for a change.
