I'm happy for the opportunity to finally join a decentralized platform. As my steemit address suggests, I'm a futurist who is also an artist. I have BFA in Drawing and Painting and will be sharing my art on this platform.
My first post will be sharing a recent scratchboard portrait of biomedical gerontologist Aubrey de Grey, founder of the SENS Research Foundation. The first time I saw a youtube video of de Grey discussing regenerative medicine, it seemed too fantastic to be real. It doesn't seem fantastic anymore...human trials are underway for many new regenerative therapies.
