The days of ETH being sub 2,000 many believed were long gone, atleast from the crypto heads I chat with.
It is pretty wild, especially considering how big a level 2K was. Granted price is trading just below it. It still doesn't make for great price action.
Especially when you consider ETH never even made a new all-time high in this cycle. Bitcoin did, usually ETH follows. Maybe it still will, but things are certainly not looking easy.
Maybe ETH ain't what it used to be?
ETH is still #2, but the reality is alot of capital that may have gone into ETH now goes into the layer 2s. In theory, this is still good for ETH, however, capital directly into a specific coin is what makes number go up, especially in the short-term.
Been interesting to see how ETH finishes this cycle. I have actually never been a huge fan and only hold a bit. BSC is my preferred chain to transact on.
