Frail legs
holding onto the leaf stalk
complete surrender to oneself
and the hopes that remain
the joy of leaping
and the juicy leaves
life is an exhilarating trip
for the tiny one
no comparisons
no savings to be done, like the humans
living from moment to moment
enjoying the precious treasures of the planet
the green summer
adding to the brightness
unknown to the self
This photo was taken about a month back but the beauty makes me keep posting it on the site. The rains have come and these have just about disappeared.
