Hello for the first time!

Hello Steemit!

It is always hard to introduce ourselves… so much to say yet so hard to put it down in words.

So first things firsts: Who am i? Am a 28year old human lover, citizen of the world. Raised in a bicultural setting, growned up in an island, studied and worked in a a country's capital, currently working and living with the boyfriend in a dark, cold awesome place called Sweden. Not so many family and friends physically around, but hoping for a change soon.

Growing up we get bombarded by the same old question: "what do you wanna be when you grow up?"
My answer? I wanna be happy! Of course as a 5 year old you can't reply that. Judgy adultpeople will start pointing and laughing and saying "ohhh how cute… but really, what do you wanna be?"
Second answer: "I wanna be a doctor!"… Of course it was always followed by the typical "oh wow", "you need to study a lot", "you are going to be rich" and so on. (PS. No, you don't get rich. Unless you sell your soul and become a money driven doctor. But don't choose those. Choose the caring and more know-it-all ones, the ones who work for 36 hours and still take some time to answer your calls and emails off hours)

Back then i was inhenrently curious about the world… and i thought the human body as being one truly fascinating mesmerizing machine. So being a doctor would, i thought, feed my curiosity whilst helping other into living healthier and happier lifes. For me, it was a path to happiness.
Twisted life as it can be, i didn't ended up in a clinical speciality, such as being a surgeon, as i thought i'd be at the beggining of med school. Instead, life surprised me into finding my true passion in Public Health.
What is Public Health? It is the science and art of preventing disease, prolonging life and promoting health through the organized efforts and informed choices of society, organizations, public, private, communities and individuals.
So instead of one-to-one doctor-patient relationship… i get a one-on-one doctor-populations relationship. Pretty awesome!! So my life devotions is making your lifes healthier and happier.

But enough about what i do to get some food on the table, a roof over the head and an airplane ticket in my hand.

What do i expect from Steemit?
