Hello everybody. In this post, I'll create and redraw MOXIAN REBEL from the Rebellion card series. This card features a woman with the appearance of a ninja. As seen on the original card image.
However, in this post, I will make it more feminine while still retaining some of the characteristics of MOXIAN REBEL. I began to learn a more realistic style of drawing. In previous works, I used a cartoon or manga depiction style.
In this work, I designed MOXIAN REBEL as a warrior who is still depicted in the style of a noble princess who becomes a warrior.
So, what is the process?
I finished outlining the previous sketch. Here, I use a pose similar to the character on the card.
The next step is to provide a base color. Highlighting the brown color reveals the shape and color.
Gives the image an effect that makes wrinkles and other details visible.
Shadow effects are clarified.
Creates a temporary background.
Adds a light effect to the character's image.
Describes how the character's chi energy is affected by the light on the hands.
Provide jewelry accessories as a complement to create a feminine and noble atmosphere.
And provides a background color with a dominant purple hue in the depiction of the sky and clouds.
This is my illustration of the character MOXIAN REBEL.
