Going to a place I've never been before and finding out it's my new favorite is the most satisfying feeling. I remember hiking out to this place and feeling absolutely alive while also living in a dream. The earth surrounding me was surreal, from all the high snow-topped mountains to the late, summer blooming, high-county wild flowers. The colors, the breeze, the clouds and the sun all came together and for a day my spirit was revived.
Sadly, this was one of the times I left my camera at home and could only capture this moment wth my iPhone (which a lot of my photos are from). It would have been fun to capture it but I also really enjoyed reveling in the moment.
