Welcome to mu weekly splinter dosage. Why do I call it dosage? I don’t know. I think it’s such a cool name though. This is an entry to the splinter lands engagement challenge. Before I go aheard with it let me talk about getting into champion. If you’ve read my recent social media post you’ll understand how I managed to play like 89 games in 2 days.
Since I am trying to play more and more everyday i put much effort into playing way less everyday. Today I almost made it into champion league with just a rating of 60 remaining. I was on a winning streak so winning the next game was gonna make it 20 to enter champion.
But as usual each time I see that I get an urge and then I get scared and make the wrong choice. This time round I actually thought I was gonna win after looking at the lineup of my opponent but then I ended up loosing woefully.
At times you can have a lot of good cards in a line up and then you get beaten by someone with a shallow line up. Yes, this happens but then that’s just how it is. If you line is only field with good cards but cards that cannot give you that urge you’ll be beaten.
So today let’s talk about great card combos. As we’ve already said, having a great card line up doesn’t necessarily give you the win. So in all your battles make sure you get those cards which can stand tall when the going gets tough.
Apart from the immortalis summoner and magic cards as a great card combo I also like the quix thr devious combo with death cards. Quix the devious is a dragon summoner that allows you to use dragon cards in addition to any other element card.
Usually I go in for the quix the devious card when I want to chose the chaos dragon card and naga asssain card. The chaos dragon is a dragon magic card that has 4 magic attack. It has 3 speed, 10 health and 4 shield. With a mana of 14 it’s best to choose it when you have an insane mana for battle.
Having the chaos dragon gives you other pecks on the battle field. When this card attacks it also performs the blast to adjacent units of the card which is attacked.
The naga assasin being a range card is a really good card even though it has this low health. It compensates for its low health with its high speed of 6. One lovely thing is that it increases this and that of your other cards speed by 1.
It has the backfire ability which makes it real cool to have. Combining it with the quix thr devious summoner which reduces the speed of all other enemy cards is a dream combo. You can look at an example with this battle that I played today.
