Hi guys,
Welcome to my blog for your regular dosage of spl content. Today my spl battle post will be taking a different direction from the one we normally know. This is cause this particular battle was one that I thought I’d win easily but then I lost which pissed me off lol.
So yesterday I bought a lot of chests which was unfortunate for me. Ever since I got a land pack from a loot chest in the glint shop I’ve been trying all possible means to get my hands on another one. The cost of that land pack was about 24 dollars which I sold on hive engine.
Since I hardly make any sales I had to take profit on that one. Since then I’ve not gotten any land. I used to like chests cause of the energy I got from it but since I have decided to play less and less I’ve refrained from buying chests. Yesterday, I went against that decision and bought a lot of loot chests. I got a lot of potions which I was happy with but then I also got a lot of energy. To put it into context; I had 0 energy before buying these chests and within 2 rounds of buying and opening chests I had about 87 energy.
The max energy is 50 but if it’s from chest it can accumulate so just imagine. Up until now I am still playing and I have been able to burn through about 27 energy from yesterday till today. So in the attempt to deplete energy I faced an opponent who whipped my ass.
In this particular battle the mana was as high as 57 which I loved from the onset but amongst the two rulesets the reverse speed was the one I didn’t like. The even Stevens ruleset was a regular one and didn’t change much in the game.

When it comes to the reverse speed ruleset you’ll have to start charging tactics. I opted for the immortalis summoner as usual but then I couldn’t go for mu regular cards. My first card was the mycelic infantry with just one speed. It even has a killer blow as well.
For my next 5 cards they were all magic cards. 1 had 2 speed and the rest had 1 speed but their health was appalling. With magi of chaos having 2 speed and 7 health it was a bit good.
But queen mycelia and doctor blight having 1 speed each was a worry. I had goblin psychic but I wasn’t feeling him.
Then lastly I had quilliun legionary a card that i hardly use but then I’d have to upgrade it soon enough.
Round one went exactly how I wanted it to buy things changed when mu opponents doctor blight was able to poison my first position card. It wasn’t such a big deal in round one but it ended up being the cause of its death in round 2.
Round 2 was going on well until my opponent’s trample started to take effect. He had the possibilus the wise summoner which granted all his melee cards trample and oh hurt my cards deeply.
With this he killed a lot of my cards which have low cards in round 3. Things took a turn of event when his doctor blight was still alive and kicking my ass.

So this is how the game went. I didn’t plan to rant this much but ended up doing so. So yh.
