‎Salvation is first about a relationship and not something that is just done for funds. God’s desire has always been to draw people to Himself, and not to get themselves with rituals that they don't even see the revelation that is connected to it. Religion can serve as a form of guide to the people who accept it.

‎It can also shapen us to some extent. But this does not mean that it is what gets us truly saved. Salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ and the grace of God, not doing some religious acts.

Ephesians 2:8–9
‎*“For by grace you have been saved through faith… not by works”*

‎When we put in religion in place of faith, it is of no use anymore. Salvation is not something that is earned, it is a gift. It is something that is been made available through grace for as many that desire to be saved and accept Christ into their lives.

‎It not about engaging in series of activities, it's about a personal relationship. There would be no point carryout all these activities if we still find ourselves from God. The christian does really faith does not really believe in that. Amidst all these activities we need to live a surrendered life to God.
