Wave Runner. Although I can see the potential for this monster, nevertheless I do not use it frequently and there are some limitations.

Match Conditions:
"Fog of War" and "Explosive Weaponry"
Preempting a large amount of damage to be dished out, I know this game would be a game of speed. As such, all my monsters are pretty quick, all at speed 3 or 4. With my summoner giving all my monsters + 1 shield, my opponents first attack is pretty much nullified (both from the explosive weaponry or through direct damage).
I figured out that for such battles, all I need to do was to just constantly inflict damage. Need not be high amount of damage, but just frequent damage. For explosive weaponry, the damage incurred to the neighboring monsters are the same if your attack to the main monster is 1 or 2, both will result in 1 damage to neighbouring monster. Meaning, I would just have to focus on the frequency of the damage. In this case, The Vigilator is awesome with it's "Double Strike" Ability.
Once the first 3 monsters are a goner, my opponent's remaining line up is just a walk in the park. It is simple to wipe them out.
Though I can see the potential of wave runner, I am unsure of its battle abilities. Nevertheless, 2 pair of eyes man, how can you not like this shark???
