El 17 de este mes estuvo de cumpleaños mi amiga @jesymora, y como en su momento no pudimos festejar con ella porque se encontraba fuera de la isla acompañando a la selección de Ajedrez del estado, específicamente la categoría Junior y Cadetes en un torneo en el estado Mérida, por supuesto que lo teníamos pendiente, y finalmente ayer junto con @claudimar salimos en plan de compartir y pasar una tarde noche especial.
On the 17th of this month, it was my friend @jesymora's birthday, and since we couldn't celebrate with her at the time because she was off the island accompanying the state chess team, specifically the Junior and Cadet category in a tournament in the state of Mérida, we obviously had to make up for it. and finally yesterday, together with @claudimar, we went out to share and spend a special evening.
Nos reunimos en un lugar que quizá les parezca poco convencional porque se trata de un supermercado, pero lo escogimos porque tienen un espacio digamos semi al aire libre, una terraza súper linda y bastante sola, ya que la mayoría de las personas prefiere estar dentro en el área donde están los puestos de comida y la barra, pero para las fotos y poder conversar a gusto nos pareció genial estar afuera, así que ahí inicio nuestro festejo.
Claudi llevó una tartaleta súper deli de melocotones para cantarle cumple a Jesy y pedimos las primeras bebidas de la tarde, mojitos para Clau y para mí y cervecita para Jesy. Tomamos algunas fotos juntas y comenzó la conversadera, y es que teníamos más de un mes sin vernos así que tocaba ponerse al día.
We met at a place that might seem a little unconventional because it's a supermarket, but we chose it because it has a semi-open-air space, a really nice terrace that's quite secluded, since most people prefer to stay inside where the food stalls and bar are. But for taking photos and chatting comfortably, we thought it would be great to be outside, so that's where our celebration began.
Claudi brought a delicious peach tart to sing happy birthday to Jesy, and we ordered our first drinks of the afternoon: mojitos for Clau and me, and beer for Jesy. We took some photos together and started chatting. We hadn't seen each other for over a month, so we had a lot to catch up on.
Después de unas horas de conversa decidimos ir a la barra para aprovechar la música y el ambiente festivo de adentro donde había mucho movimiento y fue una excelente decisión porque pudimos escoger las canciones y las chicas que atendían la barra nos atendieron de lo mejor y hasta nos obsequiaron diferentes snacks como uvas, albóndigas, pan de jamón y platanitos (chips de plátano verde). La verdad fueron muy amables y atentas con nosotras y por supuesto que esto hizo que la noche fuese más especial.
Cantamos un montón, reímos mucho más y continuamos conversando, hasta que el hambre hizo de las suyas y decidimos ordenar pizza en uno de los locales del supermercado y por dicha estaba deliciosa, no era solo pinta, estaba riquísima y a un precio excelente además. Y ya cerca de las 10:30 decidimos que era hora de regresar a casita, pasamos dejando a Jesy por su casa y luego Clau y yo nos fuimos a las nuestras.
After chatting for a few hours, we decided to go to the bar to enjoy the music and the festive atmosphere inside, where there was a lot of activity. It was an excellent decision because we could choose the songs, and the girls who worked at the bar gave us excellent service and even gave us different snacks such as grapes, meatballs, ham bread, and platanitos (green plantain chips). They were really friendly and attentive to us, which of course made the night even more special.
We sang a lot, laughed even more, and continued chatting until we got hungry and decided to order pizza from one of the supermarkets. Luckily, it was delicious—not just good-looking, but really tasty and at a great price too. Around 10:30 p.m., we decided it was time to go home. We dropped Jesy off at her house and then Clau and I went to ours.
Sin dudas que poder salir con amigas es una recarga de energía, solo plan de chicas ya que esta vez no estabamos con los niños, de hecho creo que es la primera vez que salimos solo a disfrutar nosotras tres y la verdad la pasamos genial, nos reímos muchísimo, conversamos, soltamos un poco de estrés, así definitivamente fue una especie de reseteo. Y es que sin dudas salir con amigas es un mimo para el corazón.
Without a doubt, going out with friends is a great way to recharge your batteries. It was just a girls' night out, as this time we didn't have the kids with us. In fact, I think it was the first time the three of us had gone out just to enjoy ourselves, and we had a great time. We laughed a lot, talked, let go of some stress, so it was definitely a kind of reset. Without a doubt, going out with friends is good for the heart.
