As you know, 7 days after a post or a comment gets made, it's payout occurs. The reward pool is split like this: 3/4 (75%) go to the author and 1/4 (25%) go to the curators.
Tecnically, the curators are everyone who has upvoted that post/ comment. But to actually recieve anything, you have to make at least 0.001SP, but how?
Simplifying curation!
The amount of SP that you make is defined by a couple of factors:
- The amount of people that voted before and after you
- The amount of time that has passed since the post
- The value of your vote
Tips to maximize your curation rewards!
- Try to be one of the first people to vote (First 5![Curation_steemit_simplified.png]
- If possible, delay your vote as much as possible (up to 30 mins after posting)
- Vote when you have more Voting Power available
