I achieved something that probably others have achieved a long ago who joined at the same time in Hive with me. But that doesn't bother me. It's something that makes me feel proud.

I'm more than happy if I express myself honestly. I was counting days, checking the number every day, felt a little frustrated when saw some unfollowing me. But that's okay. As I said, it doesn't bother me. What I have achieved is something my personal milestone does not necessarily have to seem much to everyone.
Don't unfollow me in a bulk after reading this post. 😅
However, one thing I can guarantee you is that 95% of my followers are organic. Back then, there used to be some bots/platforms where you can get followers for following or something like this. I never used those also they got abolished after the hard fork in 2019 (as per I can remember, correct me if I'm wrong).
I wouldn't claim 1000 is a huge number compared to the time I'm here on this platform. I approve that it can be much more. But 2020 was the worst year for me for different personal reasons, I stepped back from what I used to do here and I almost stopped engaging with new users. One thing, I was feeling so down that I never felt like commenting or consuming content.
But I start to put myself together in 2021. I still going through a lot of steroid and mental & physical health issues. Those who ask why I'm not active in discord or do much in Hive, this is the answer.
Moving on to tell you how I achieved almost 200 followers in three months.
- I start to be quite active in Hive.
- I commented on the new user's posts as well as introductory posts.
- I start to vote on my post's comments.
- I follow back who I think is worthy.
- Most importantly, I curate many of the posts manually and put a meaningful comment along with it.
- Also, as I'm a curator of bdcommunity that helped me a lot to reach more users.
If new users are looking for some tips like how can you increase your followers then these are the things you can do. I used to hear three words a lot when I joined here; engagement, engagement, and engagement. These three words still work the same.
Success comes with responsibility, I'm continuously reminding myself this.
