Hello there!
Having completed my earlier travel posts on several interesting countries, such as Japan (Tokyo, Osaka and Hokkaido), Maldives, Indonesia (Bali and Yogyakarta), I was going through my past travels to see which would be the next interesting country or city to share, and I finally shortlisted New York, USA!
As you would have known from my past posts, my first trip to USA was a work trip to New York. Because I only had two days for sightseeing, I wrote about how I had to speed run through some of the major attractions in New York. You can read all about them here:

Several years later, I actually managed to visit USA again, and this time, it was for a holiday to the West Coast of USA and because the trip spanned across two weeks, there's definitely lots to unpack and share so sit back, and enjoy the sharings! You can read the earlier posts over here:

After getting some rest, we were out in the morning on the second day and this time we took some time to travel from the city all the way to the coast to visit the beaches and more.
After a long bus ride, we were finally at Venice! This is not the Venice in Italy! It's actually a neighbourhood in Los Angeles with awesome beaches and beach side restaurants and cafes.

As it was pretty close to noon, we grabbed a bite at one of the crowded restaurants, and when we saw the view of the Venice Beach from where we sat, we were just stunned. The blue skies and the white sandy beach just blended so well together.

After brunch, we went onto the beach to soak in the sea breeze and get some amazing photos! I liked that the whole beach was so massive and it felt so endless!

From the beach, this was the view of the stretch of cafes and restaurants beside the beach. I thought the design of the buildings combined very well with the beach as well.

This was the view of the beach in the south direction. Another scenic view.

I walked closer to the waters just to soak in the sounds of the waves crashing onto the shore. The feeling was just so soothing, except that we were under the hot afternoon.

One last look, one more panoramic photo of the Venice Beach, before we proceeded to our next destination.

I wasn't sure if it was due to the sunny weather that not many people were on the beach, or perhaps there were other beaches in the area that were more popular and people generally prefer to chill at the restaurants and cafes. For me, it was an eye-opening visit to such a big beach, and coupled with the blue skies, the photos turned out to be very scenic!
So that's all I have today! Have you been to Los Angeles or Venice Beach before? Let me know in the comments below!
Finally, thanks for reading my post in the community under World Map Pin!
