Starting from Stone Age
Crossing into Ice Age
Walking into Metal Age
Finally settling into Garb Age
Daily we are prodding
Deeper and deeper
Into an age of degradation
Through creation of garbage!
Garbage is here to stay
As long as we could care less
Taunting all who stay
Or even when you are at bay!
Life is to restore and cherish
Life is said to leave behind goodness
We leave behind garbage
Ending up getting rubbish
Why do we plunder
When there is so much wonder
Making the world asunder
Bringing everyone to flounder
Garbage is ours
Responsibility is ours
It's not just garbage workers
Everyone must own up to care!
Let's create an age of no garbage
Prioritizing nature for future
Saving land, air and oceans
From being a dump of garbage!
